The Roadrunners own a 30-6 record against Mines since the Orediggers joined the NCAA Division II ranks in 1992. Each team won a matchup last season at their opponent's home arena. Mines defeated then-No. 9 Metro State 3-2 in Denver early in the season before the then-No. 11 Roadrunners captured a 3-2 victory in Golden.

In addition, the Colorado School of Mines Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be sponsoring a student social for all Mines students at the McNeil Room in the Student Recreation Center.

Doors to the social will open at 6:30 p.m. and the food will be served on a first-come, first-served basis until it is gone.

All students must bring a valid BlasterCard to receive food and free admission to the match.
