Mines Cheerleading aims to support not only Mines Athletics but Colorado School of Mines. We are currently a non competitive team that focuses on the GameDay aspects of cheerleading. Our team size varies from year with a wide range of athletic backgrounds. We welcome anyone who feels interested and excited about cheering!

Submitting Videos:
You may:
Videos must not exceed four minutes in length. We do not expect professionally edited video. We would like the video to represent you (your personality and skills) and not all the bells & whistles of a professional recruitment video. Please rotate cell phone & tablet videos to be wide format rather than tall. Thank you.
Please perform all activities in respect to quarantine and social distancing procedures. No jumps, tumbling, or stunting will be judged for tryouts due to this. Please follow this format and do not include extras.

- What is your previous experience? What awards have you earned?
- Why do you want to be part of the Mines Cheerleading team?

- Explain a time when you were in a leadership role. What was the most challenging aspect?

- Please learn the previously recorded cheers, “Go Big Blue” and “Go Mines Go”

- We are looking for loud voices with excitement and sharp motions.
- Dance
- Please learn the dance in the video posted on our website or youtube that is linked above.
- You can do this song to any song of your choice as long as it is the same beat as the video’s dance.
