COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado School of Mines softball could not keep pace with hot-swinging Fort Lewis and Colorado Colorado Springs Sunday, falling 10-2 and 13-5 in five innings in the final games of the three-team pod at Mountain Lion Field in Colorado Springs.

The Skyhawks (16-27, 14-18 RMAC) and Mountain Lions (10-35, 8-23 RMAC) combined for 20 RBI, 23 runs and 27 hits to sweep their respective season series with Mines.
