ALAMOSA, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines improved to 6-0 with a big comeback to defeat Adams State on the road, 21-18.

Trailing 18-9 after six bouts, the Orediggers won the four upper weights in succession, including Weston Hunt's winner-take-all victory at heavyweight to secure the team win.

The Grizzlies won the first three matches as Isaiah DeLaCerda pinned Matt Lavengood at 125 pounds, #3 Darek Huff beat #12 Noah Au-Yeung 9-2 at 133, and Dylan Udero outlasted Lukas Erickson 9-7 in a heartbreaker at 141.

That spotted ASU a 12-0 lead, but Noah Ottum picked up a crucial win at 149, getting a late penalty point in regulation with Noah Hermosillo to send it to overtime, where Ottum's takedown won it 6-4. Skyler Lykins then got a first-period pin at 157 to cut it to 12-9, but Koery Windham returned the favor at 165 with a fall over Keenan Willits to lead 18-9.

Still, Mines was in reach with four bouts to go, and it all started with Robert Gambrell at 174, who decisioned Isaac Lopez 8-7 on riding time. Connor Ventura then cruised 8-1 over William Tyler at 184, and Jake Feldman held off Khalil Gipson, 7-6, at 197 to tie it up 18-18. That set up a decisive battle at 285 pounds, and Weston Hunt used a second-period reversal and third-period takedown to break a 3-3 deadlock and defeat James Romero, 7-3.
