John Tosches came to Mines baseball as an assistant coach in the fall of 2019.
Tosches grew up in Colorado Springs and played baseball at Air Academy. After graduating in 2010, he accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Regis University where he played for four years. He graduated from RU in 2014 after helping the Rangers reach their first NCAA Tournament in over 30 years. He went on to coach with current Oredigger head coach Robby Bales at Ralston Valley High School. Tosches returned to Regis a year later and earned a master's in marketing.
