Colorado School of Mines Athletics

Andy Vanous returns for his sixth year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Colorado School of Mines during the 2016-17 academic year.

Prior to his arrival at Mines, Vanous was the assistant athletic trainer from 2004-2011 at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. Before his time in Durango, Vanous served as the assistant athletic trainer at the University of California - Santa Barbara in 2003.

As a graduate assistant, Vanous worked at Stanford University and San Jose State University.

Vanous earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology and Athletic Training from San Jose State University in 2005 and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Athletic Training from Fort Lewis College in 2001.

Vanous and his wife, Kami, reside in Littleton with their children, Braylon and Ellie.
