Colorado School of Mines Athletics

Jacob Pope begins his sixth year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Colorado School of Mines in 2016-17.

Pope's collegiate resume includes two years (2009-10 and 2010-11) as a graduate assistant at Illinois State University. Pope, who worked with the Redbirds' football and track & field programs, earned his master's degree in athletic training in 2011.

Pope also worked as a student trainer while earning his bachelor's degree in athletic training at California State University, Northridge (2009).

Pope, who played football at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California, currently resides in Lakewood.
