Kevin Langlois joined Mines as the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation Center in the summer of 2017.
Langlois comes to Mines after serving as the Outdoor Adventure Program coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is an experienced outdoor instructor, having worked in various capacities as a ski guide and instructor in Colorado and Utah, a climbing instructor in Utah, and a guide in California, Utah, and Wisconsin. He is a certified wilderness first responder and EMT and holds certifications and coursework in avalanche training, outdoor emergency care, and Leave No Trace principles.
Langlois is a graduate of Bethel (Ind.) College and earned his master's degree from Frostburg State University.
