Hamilton joined the Colorado School of Mines Baseball coaching staff in August of 2018. He enters his second season as an assistant coach in 2020.
The Grand Junction, Colo., native served as an assistant coach for Bales at Thomas Jefferson High School and Ralston Valley High School following a successful collegiate playing career. Hamilton competed for two years at Otero Junior College before returning home and playing at then Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa) where he earned 2011 All-RMAC Relief Pitcher honors and helped the Mavericks to the 2011 RMACÂ Tournament title.
Hamilton attended Fuita Monument High School and graduated from Colorado Mesa in 2012 where he majored in Sports Management. He also currently works fro Kroenke Sports & Entertainment in Denver.
