Mines heads to nearby MSU Denver for a big-time match-up on CET before making the trip down I-25 to tangle with UCCS.
LAST WEEKEND REWIND
Mines went on the road for the first time in RMAC play last weekend and came away with a split in the Mount Rushmore State. First, the Orediggers had a tough shooting night in an 86-68 defeat at Black Hills State. They rebounded with a 64-61 overtime victory at South Dakota Mines the very next night.
Emily Bailey starred in the victory with 21 points and six rebounds.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION
Comcast Entertainment Television will carry Friday's Colorado School of Mines basketball doubleheader at MSU Denver live.The women's game will tip off at 5 p.m. with the men to follow at 7 p.m. It will be second straight year that CET has picked up the Mines-Metro rivalry; last season, both Oredigger teams left the Auraria Event Center as winners. CET can be found in Colorado on Comcast Channel 105 and HD Channel 900.

MILESTONE REACHED
With the final bucket scored in regulation by the Orediggers in the 64-61 overtime victory at Black Hills State last Saturday,
Laura Tyree became the program's newest career 1,000-point scorer. Tyree is the first to reach the milestone since Angie Charchalis (2008-13) four seasons ago.

RECENT HISTORY
Mines swept this weekend a season ago as they defeated both MSU Denver and UCCS. First, with a double-double from
Courtney Martin '16, the Orediggers outscored the Mountain Lions by 14 in the second half to come out with a 59-55 victory. Martin was also key in Mines' 61-54 win at MSU Denver as she posted 20 points and eight rebounds.

SCOUTING MSU DENVER
The Roadrunners enter the big rivalry game at 7-4 overall and 3-1 in RMAC play. Â MSU Denver went 1-1 last weekend with a narrow defeat at Regis (67-62) before rebounding with a blowout at Chadron State (70-50). Georgia Ohrdorf is team's leading scorer at a league fourth-best 14.5ppg. She's also sixth in the league in rebounding at 7.2 per game.

SCOUTING UCCS
UCCS heads into the weekend at 6-4 overall and also at 3-1 in league action. The Mountain Lions are third in the conference in scoring at 69.4 per game; Mines is only 0.2 points behind. Defending RMAC Player of the Year Brittany Hernandez is currently averaging 15 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals per outing.
