NCAA GAME OF THE WEEK
Friday's game at Fort Lewis will be produced by American Sports Network as part of the NCAA Division II Game of the Week, and it will air live locally on Altitude 2 and nationally on TUFF TV. The game will also stream live on NCAA.com.

THE PLAYOFF PUSH
Mines enters the weekend in good shape for making the RMAC Tournament, in seventh at 11-7 in RMAC play a half-game back of MSU Denver and a full game ahead of Black Hills State (9-10). Mines could clinch a tournament berth this weekend with either two wins, or a win and a loss each by Black Hills State and Colorado Christian. Fort Lewis (13-6) is battling for a top-four seed and a home quarterfinal at 13-6, currently tied for fourth with Regis.

LEADING THE WAY
To say Emily Bailey has done a little bit of everything this season would be an understatement. The redshirt sophomore has been a leader on both ends of the floor for Mines, averaging 14.1 points per game and shooting an RMAC-best .878 at the clip. To that she adds 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game, but in RMAC play she's been even better: 17.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting a nearly-perfect .936 (44-of-47) at the stripe.

HELPING HAND
Mines senior Laura Tyree set the program assists record earlier this season and continues to put space between her and every other Oredigger in that category. Heading into the weekend, Tyree has 389 career assists, 50 more than the old record. She's bidding to be only the ninth RMAC player to reach 400 career assists.

GIVE ME SOME MOORE
Since entering the starting lineup in early January, Mikaela Moore has been one of Mines' most reliable contributors off the glass, averaging 5.1 rebounds. She has especially shined on the offensive boards, where she ranks fourth in the RMAC at 2.4 per game.

LAST TIME WE MET
Mines will meet Fort Lewis for the first and only time this year. Last year, the Orediggers won both regular-season match-ups in close circumstances; in Durango, Emily Bailey hit a go-ahead free throw with a second left to win 57-56, while at home it was a 65-63 win as Mines overcame a 63-60 deficit with 43 seconds to go to win on Courtney Martin's late layup. The Skyhawks had their revenge in the RMAC Tournament, upsetting the #1-seeded Orediggers 79-63. Mines cruised past New Mexico Highlands, 63-44, earlier this season with a 56-36 rebounding advantage and 17 points from Emily Bailey.
