Colorado School of Mines Athletics

Louis Cortes has worked with the Mines football program since spring of 2016, first as the team's video coordinator/operations assistant and currently as a defensive assistant coach.

Cortes came to Mines after serving as an assistant coach at Front Range Christian High School in Littleton during the 2015 season. He played at Northwestern College (Iowa) before graduating from the University of Colorado at Denver with an economics degree; while at CU-Denver, he was president of Metro State's club football program.
